Sinnott Blacktop, Inc. was started in 1988 by Bob Sinnott and Art Anderson. Both Bob and Art had over 25 years of experience in the asphalt industry working with Arrowhead Blacktop. Upon Arrowhead selling their business, Bob and Art, along with their sons, started working in the residential and commercial market as Sinnott Blacktop, Inc. Since then there have been many changes in the company. Bob purchased Art's shares and went to work full time with his sons Steve and Scott. From day one Sinnott Blacktop, Inc. has built a reputation based on its founders' values: to build every job like it is your own. In 2000 Scott and Steve purchased the company from Bob to carry on the work of their father. Bob passed away later that year and is missed by his family and by the industry itself.
